1. Current Status, Position

Ms Elien Uitvlugt is currently a hospital pharmacist and PhD student at OLVG hospital in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. 

2. Education

Ms Elien Uitvlugt studied Pharmacy at the University of Groningen and became licensed pharmacist in 2012 and she completed her training as a hospital pharmacist in 2018. In 2017 she started with her PhD research about drug related readmissions and actions in transfer of medication care which could potentially prevent these readmissions.

3. Research Area

Ms Elien Uitvlugt’s main research areas and interests are medication related (re)admissions, continuity of pharmaceutical care and patients needs.
