1984 – graduated from the Pharmaceutical Faculty, Medical University of Gdansk
1989 – Ph.D. in pharmaceutical technology, Gdansk
1991-1992 – postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco
2002 – professorship in pharmaceutical technology, Gdansk

3.  Research Area

Pharmaceutical technology: solubilization and liquid formulations, eye drops, parenterals, suppositories, ointments, emulsions and lipid microparticles, lyophilization
Biopharmacy: percutaneous, transmucosal and transcorneal penetration
Pharmaceutical practice: hospital pharmacy, parenteral nutrition, cytotoxic drugs, compounded drugs, pharmaceutical care
