1. Current Status, Position

Dr. Pourcher-Martinez (MD, PhD) is Associate Professor in the Department of Infectious Disease at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris, France.

2. Education

Dr Pourcher-Matinez has graduated as internal medicine specialist in 2004 and in Infectious Diseases in 2007. She also completed their formation with a PhD in immunology. She has been working for the past two years in the Department of Infectious Diseases at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris as an associate professor. She is specialised in immunossuppressed patients: HIV infected patients, post-transplant patients, infectious complications of chemotherapies, biotherapies.

3. Research Area

Dr Pourcher-Martinez is involved in clinical research on antiretroviral/antiviral drugs, on HIV comorbidities and in fondamental research, on Kaposi sarcoma particularly as an investigator in a study testing the efficacy of lenalidomide in Kaposi sarcoma in HIV infected patients.

4. Conflict of interest: Dr. Pourcher-Martinez is a consultant for Gilead, ViiV, BMS, MSD and Janssen.
