1. Current Status, Position

Dr Kjeldsen is Senior Specialist.

2. Education

Dr Kjeldsen graduated with a MSc (pharm) degree in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1997 and with a PhD in quality use of medicine from Department of Medicine, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia in 2002. She has completed a postgraduate course in clinical pharmacy and my professional career has primarily focused on research and development within the area of clinical pharmacy. Her current work involves conducting studies as well as providing support to projects within the area of clinical pharmacy by request from hospital pharmacies in Denmark. She has previously worked with clinical pharmacy projects within the primary care setting when employed by Pharmakon in Denmark. Other previous employments include organizations; The University of Southern Denmark, Odense University Hospital and The Danish Medicines Agency.

3. Research Area

Her primary experiences and specialization are not within a certain area of research but rather a general approach within research and development of clinical pharmacy projects including all aspects of the study process from identification of a study subject, planning the project, developing the protocol, conducting and managing the study process, evaluating and presenting results.
