1. Current Status, Position

Dr. Franky Buyle is currently a hospital pharmacist at the Ghent University Hospital. He is involved in the clinical activities of the pharmacy with special expertise in the use of antimicrobial agents. He is also involved with the disaster policy within the hospital pharmacy.

2. Education

Dr. Franky Buyle studied Pharmacy at the Ghent University in Belgium and became licensed pharmacist in 2006 and licensed hospital pharmacist in 1997. In 2015, he obtained a PhD in medical sciences at the Ghent University on quality indicators for antimicrobial stewardship programs.

3. Research Area

Dr. Franky Buyle research focuses on antimicrobial stewardship activities in a hospital setting.
