The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

1. Current Status, Position
Mr. Aston (B.Sc. (Pharmacy), M.Sc. (Clinical Pharmacy)) is Associate Chief Pharmacist at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
2. Education
Mr. Aston undertook a BSc in Pharmacy in 2007 and completed an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy in 2003. He is currently undertaking research towards a postgraduate PharmD degree in the field of paediatric medication review. He has worked at Birmingham Children’s hospital for the past 8 years. Prior to this he has held posts in adults hospitals and academia.
3. Research Area
Mr. Aston’s main research area is medication review in paediatrics. He also has an interest in antimicrobial stewardship and pharmacy education having published in both these areas.
