1. Current Status, Position

Prof Dr Patricia van den Bemt works as a hospital pharmacist and clinical pharmacologist in the hospital pharmacy of Erasmus University Medical Center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She also is an epidemiologist and professor in Medication Safety.

· 1984-1991: Bachelor and Master of Science in Pharmacy, Utrecht University, Utrecht, The Netherlands
· 1994-1998: Residency in Hospital Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacies of Tilburg and Delft, The Netherlands
· 1998-2002: PhD, University of Groningen, The Netherlands
· 2009: Master of Science in Epidemiology, EMGO VU Medical Centre, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
· 2011-2012: Postgraduate Training Clinical Pharmacology, Erasmus University Medical Centre, Rotterdam, The Netherlands

3. Research Area

Patricia van den Bemt’s research area focus is on medication safety and anticoagulation.
