Journal Highlights: HPs and patients undergoing assisted reproduction technique

A study from Castilla La Mancha, Spain has been published in the European Journal of Hospital Pharmacy.It looked at the satisfaction of patients undergoing assisted reproduction techniques with the care and counselling delivered by hospital pharmacists.

The study provided reassurance of the high adherence to treatment of these patients. It also found the patients were receptive to counselling and satisfied with pharmaceutical care. The results of questionnaires indicated that from the difference in knowledge before and after pharmaceutical counselling, such care is beneficial.
