Current position
Drs. Lina van Hout-Mourad is currently hospital pharmacist at Catharina Hospital Eindhoven in the Netherlands. For the last years she was responsible as a production pharmacist for the sterile and non sterile production unit in Eindhoven, which is specialised in the production of unlicensed medicines. Now she is QP, head of the research department and responsible for the compounding unit for individual pharmacy preparations and cytostatic drug preparation department.
Education
Lina studied Pharmacy at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands and she was trained to become a hospital pharmacist in 2001. She worked in ETZ Hospital Tilburg for 19 years as head of the production unit. In 2020 she switched to the Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven.
She’s is member of the Committee of Production and Pharmaceutical Analysis of the NVZA and organises annual educational courses for hospital pharmacy students. She’s is a board member of the NGB, Netwerk Gespecialiseerde Bereidingsapotheken.
Research area
Drs. Lina van Hout-Mourad specialises in sterile and non sterile production of unlicensed medicines and in reconstitution of medicinal products e.g. cytostatics.
