The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.
1. Current Status, Position
Mrs. Armida Gigante is currently Sr Sustainability Manager in Western Europe at Medtronic. She is responsible of defining programs to improve sustainability (economic, environmental and social) in the Healthcare with Hospitals and Institutions, monitoring the regulation and creating awareness on ESG.
2. Education
She holds an MBA from Henley Business School, UK (2008) and a bachelor degree in Business Administration from L.Bocconi University, Italy (1996). In 2023 she completed the Executive course for Sustainability Managers from Altis-Università Cattolica, Italy.
3. Research Area
Mrs. Armida Gigante has 25+years of experience in process re-engineering, business transformation, digitalization and sustainability in international and rapidly changing working contexts, both in product and service industries.
