1. Current Status, Position

Dr Nathalie Vernaz is deputy pharmacist in charge of the supply and distribution since 2002.

2. Education

Dr Nathalie Vernaz studied at the Geneva University and obtained his pharmacy degree in 1989.
She worked in community pharmacy from 1990 to 1994. She obtained the MBA at the Geneva University in 1994 and worked two years at IFRC in the finance department. From 1996 to 2001 she was in charge of a pharmacy into the community. Since 2002 she is working at the hospital pharmacy continously working in the field of pharmacoeconomy obtaining her PhD in 2011.

3. Research Area

Her main research interests are in the field of phamacoeconomy and Business Intelligence. She published in 2011 in the PLOS Medicine on the financial impact of the evergreening strategies on overall healthcare costs and the financial impact of listing drugs in hospital restrictive drug formularies on the healthcare system as a whole.
