EAHP GA to discuss medicines barcoding, shortages and trials

The General Assembly of the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists meets this weekend in Budapest.
 
The General Assembly is the annual opportunity for the delegates of the 31 Member Associations of EAHP to review Association policy and activity. On the agenda for this year’s Assembly is consideration of policy on:
• Medicines barcoding;
• Medicines shortages; and,
• Clinical trial regulation
 
There will also be discussion of topical hospital pharmacy issues in individual member countries and workshops on how to achieve continuous improvement of EAHP services to its Members.
The next edition of the EU Monitor will report on the outcomes of the Assembly.
