The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

Goals
The National Association of Hospital Pharmacists of Romania aims to develop and protect the professional interests of hospital pharmacists through the following objectives:
- Develop hospital pharmacy and the pharmaceutical establishment as a doctrine common to the European Union;
- Increase the role and importance of the hospital pharmacist;
- Hospital pharmacists representing their interests vis-a-vis authorities and institutions in Romania, as well as the European Union;
- Promote cooperation with other professional associations;
- Inform hospital pharmacists about the latest news by distributing informational materials in the hospital and organizing conferences and seminars;
- Align with European standards of service educational programs;
- Ensure continuous professional education;
- Integrate into national health systems association and European Union;
- Implement the specialization of hospital pharmacist;
- Establish clear professional degrees in hospital pharmacy;
- Publish specific articles of the hospital pharmacy pharmaceutical publications and prepare a magazine addressed to hospital pharmacists.
Membership
ANFSR represents over 1025 hospital pharmacists working in nearly 651 hospital pharmacies across Romania.
Specialisation
There is no mandatory hospital pharmacy specialisation programme, however post graduate training is possible, such as a specialisation in clinical pharmacy.
