Dr van den Bemt is Hospital pharmacist-clinical pharmacologist/associate professor.

 

 

Patricia van den Bemt has graduated in pharmacy in 1991 and was trained as a hospital pharmacist from 1994 to 1998. She became an epidemiologist in 2009 and a clinical pharmacologist in 2012. In 2010 she was appointed as associate professor.

 

 

Patricia van den Bemt is leading the research line on medication safety from the hospital pharmacy of Erasmus MC. Within this line, currently seven PhD projects are being conducted on medication reconciliation, information technology and medication safety, consultation by hospital pharmacists and medication safety, and adherence.
