Current Status, Position

Dr Ursula Theuretzbacher is the Founder of the Center for Anti-Infective Agents. She is an independent Expert for antibacterial drug research and discovery/development strategies based on clinical and public health needs. She currently focuses on recovering the global pipeline, evaluation and comparative assessment of antibacterial drugs, and optimization of antibacterial therapy concepts.

Education

Dr Ursula Theuretzbacher obtained a PhD in microbiology at the University of Vienna and Innsbruck.

Research Area

Dr Ursula Theuretzbacher’s work focuses on antimicrobial resistance ranging from R&D strategies to policies to recover the global antimicrobial pipelines.
