Current position
Dr. Tamasine Grimes is currently a Pharmacy Executive Manager at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. She is responsible for all pharmacy operations and has oversight of all medication management functions across the organisation.
Education
Tamasine studied Pharmacy at Trinity College Dublin and became a registered Pharmacist in 1999. In 2002, she earned a MSc in Hospital Pharmacy from Trinity College Dublin. In 2010, she earned a PhD in Clinical Pharmacy from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland for her work on medication safety a transitions of care in Ireland.
Research area
Dr Grimes’ research focusses on medication safety at care transitions, including interprofessional working, medication reconciliation and healthcare informatics. She is interested in medication self-management.
