The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

1. Current Status, Position
Anne Spinewine currently works half-time as the head of clinical pharmacy of a teaching hospital (CHU Dinant Godinne) and half-time as a professor in clinical pharmacy at UCL.
2. Education
Anne Spinewine graduated as a pharmacist (MPharm) at the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) in 1999. She completed an MSc in clinical pharmacy, international practice and policy in 2001 (University of London), her PhD in 2006 (UCL) and a master in hospital pharmacy in 2007 (UCL).
3. Research Area
Her research focuses on the evaluation of quality and safety of medication use, and more specifically:
– appropriateness of use of medicines in older patients,
– continuity of care,
– other high-risk medications or situations: sedation and analgesia in intensive care; direct oral anticoagulants.
