Current Status, Position

Mr Karl-Heinz Selbmann is Director of the Institute of Print Technology in Burgdorf at the Bern University of Applied Sciences. In addition he is a member of the Research Association Advanced Manufacturing of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences and co-founder of a micro dosing start-up.

Education

Mr Karl-Heinz Selbmann studied physics at TU Berlin and executive business administration and focused on innovation management at BUAS Bern. Furthermore, he has 15 years industrial R&D and product management experience in machine building companies.

Research Area

Mr Karl-Heinz Selbmann’s research interest focuses on functional digital-printing, 3D-printing and micro-dosing in the areas of manufacturing, life science, enabling technology and digital transformation.
