Patrick van Oirschot is owner of GPP Support BV, a consultancy firm specialised in hospital pharmacy strategy and digital transformation. He is a recognised Closed Loop Medication Management (CLMM) expert, Co-Founder of the Asclepius Project, and serves as Strategic Consultant for BAZAN Managementgesellschaft mbH and health-h in Germany.
Education
Patrick van Oirschot studied Econometrics at Tilburg University, specialising in quantitative logistics. He completed executive programs in Supply Chain Management at INSEAD (Fontainebleau) and Leadership Development at Nyenrode Business University. He also holds certifications in PRINCE2 Project Management and Professional Business Communication and has extensive training in innovation and change management.
Research area
Patrick’s professional focus lies in Closed Loop Medication Management (CLMM), hospital pharmacy strategy, robotics, 3DP and digitalisation-driven transformation. He has authored and contributed to several European papers on ROI, workflow design, interoperability, and strategy development in CLMM systems, and actively contributes to shaping the future of digital medication management and pharmacy leadership education. His work combines strategic, technological, and human-centered approaches to improve medication safety and efficiency across healthcare systems.
