1. Current Status, Position

Anita McWhirter is the New Models of Care pharmacist for the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and RM Partners, West London Cancer Alliance. She led on the implementation of Biosimilar Trastuzumab at the Royal Marsden, sharing her work across RM Partners and nationally.

2. Education

Anita McWhirter studied at the School for Pharmacy, at the University of Strathclyde and graduated in 1997. In 2003, she obtained an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy and became an Independent Prescriber in 2007.

3. Research Area

Ms Anita McWhirter has had a variety roles over the years, including Associate Chief Pharmacist Clinical Research and Development, leading the clinical trial pharmacy service at the Royal Marsden. She is also the named Pharmacist on the international Trial Management Group for RAMPART (Renal Adjuvant Multiple Arm Randomised Trial).
