The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

As a Clinical Neonatologist with an interest in drug development, Dr. Turner contributes to three drug development programmes funded by FP7 and lead the European Study of Neonatal Excipient Exposure. He is also involved in developing the research infrastructure for paediatrics medicines research as co-lead of a FP7 Network of Excellence (Global Research in Paediatrics, GRIP) and Associate Director for European Affairs at the English National Institute for Health Research Medicines for Children Research Network.
