1. Current Status, Position

Member of Service ICAR – webmaster of SiteGPR®
SiteGPR® is a website providing guidelines on how to use drugs in patients with kidney disease. This unique website is run by Service ICAR, a national medical advisory service, created in 1999, at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, with Pr. Gilbert Deray, Head of the Department of Nephrology. SiteGPR® is opened to all healthcare professionals. Subscription may be individual, or may be part of a partnership contract with another entity (Medical societies, professional associations, pharmaceutical industry, …)

2. Education
Dr. Nicolas Janus was graduated as a PharmD in 2005 and was recruited by Service ICAR at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris, France. Service ICAR is a medical advisory service on "drugs and the kidney" ie. 1) drug dosage adjustment in patients with renal disease, 2) drug-drug interactions with immunosuppressive, and 3) drugs renal effects. This service is dedicated to French physicians and pharmacists in order to give them advices on how to manage drugs in their renal failure/transplanted patients according to published data in the international medical and scientific literature. Dr Janus was also graduated in clinical research management and biostatistics.
 
3. Research Area
Research activities of Dr Janus focus on clinical pharmacology, with specific interests in nephrotoxicology and nephropharmacology. For the past years, oncology, vaccine, rhumatology drugs are important areas of interest for Dr. Janus. He authored to date 31 articles indexed in PubMed, 86 in Google Scholar since 2006. His H and i10 factors are 9 and 9, respectively. Dr Janus also published 89 posters and 17 oral communications since 2006.
