1. Current Status, Position

Dr. Hoppe-Tichy (State examination in Pharmacy) is Chief Pharmacist at University Hospital of Heidelberg, Immediate Past President of the German Association of Hospital Pharmacists (ADKA), Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy at Ruprecht Karls University of Heidelberg, and Lecturer at Dresden International University and at Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg.

2. Education

Dr. Hoppe-Tichy studied pharmacy at the School of Pharmacy in Braunschweig, Germany. He has a PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the School of Pharmacy in Braunschweig and is Deputy Chief Pharmacist at University Hospital at Ulm, Germany.

3. Research Area

His interests are clinical pharmacy regarding drug safety and patient safety through safe administration of drugs, pharmacokinetics of antimicrobial agents, pharmacoeconomy, organsiation of hospital pharmacy and automatisation of logistics and drug reconstitution and production.
