The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

- Personalised medicine, individualisation of drug therapy, drug safety with particular focus on:
- Drug-drug interactions (cooperative effect of drug transporters and metabolic isozymes; focus on antiretrovirals, fungistatics, antibacterials, and drugs with narrow therapeutic index) in vitro and in vivo
- Development, implementation, and evaluation of electronic tools for dose individualisation of drugs to individual needs of different patient groups
- Evaluation of drug dosing and administration in clinical settings, development of intervention strategies
- Early drug trials / first-in-man Studies (Phase 0 and Phase I)
