Current position
Dr. Francine de Stoppelaar
currently works at Deloitte UK, leading work on the NHS’s New Hospital Programme though a Health Delivery Partnership. As a subject matter expert she is shaping the “Hospital 2.0” concept, leading on the development of end-to-end medicines pathways, workforce design, and future operational models. Alongside that, she is also supporting Deloitte Iceland and a number of other international projects focused on hospital transformation hospital transformation, including oncology and chemotherapy services, and wider healthcare strategy.

Education
Francine is an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Leicester. Her academic foundation includes a Doctor of Pharmacy and MSc from Utrecht and Maastricht Universities in The Netherlands, a Certificate in Business Administration from Warwick Business School, and executive education in Digital Transformation Leadership from Harvard Medical School.

Research area
Francine is a pioneering digital health leader specialising in technology-enabled care transformation. With strong expertise in medication safety and medicines optimisation, she designs and delivers evidence-based strategies that enhance clinical outcomes and reduce preventable harm. Her work is underpinned by advanced capability in data and AI analytics, using real-world insights, predictive modelling, and digital innovation to drive safer, smarter, more efficient and sustainable healthcare systems.
