The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

1. Current Status, Position
Mrs Kerr (BSc pharmacy) is currently an Antimicrobial Pharmacist in NHS Lanarkshire, Scotland. She has been in her current post since 2009.
2. Education
Frances Kerr graduated from Strathclyde University in 1998 with a BSc in pharmacy and qualified as a pharmacist in 1999. She worked as a community pharmacist initially and then undertook a career change to hospital pharmacy in 2008, following a successful year in hospital pharmacy in Australia.
3. Research Area
Frances Kerr is mainly interested in antimicrobials and antimicrobial stewardship in the acute hospital setting. She is also involved in several local projects to improve prescribing in antimicrobials and has a particular interest in using Quality Improvement Methodology in order to change systems and behaviours to improve outcomes for patients.
