The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

1. Current Status, Position
Dr. Kieran Dalton is a lecturer in clinical practice at the School of Pharmacy, University College Cork.
2. Education
Dr. Kieran Dalton graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from University College Cork in 2013 and completed a Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2014.
After his registration, Kieran worked as a hospital pharmacist before pursuing a PhD in clinical pharmacy in University College Cork, which he completed in 2019.
3. Research Area
Dr. Kieran Dalton’s PhD investigated the factors affecting the optimisation of medication appropriateness in hospitalised older adults. Whilst he continues to focus on this topic, Kieran is also conducting research into pharmacist prescribing in hospitals and the emerging role of pharmacists in general practice.
