2. Education

Passionate about making a difference to patent care,  Mrs. Correa West is both an Adult and Paediatric Nurse, specialising in Paediatric Intensive Care she has over twenty years clinical experience. Building upon her clinical career she has worked in Research & Audit and Education. She is a qualified Professional Healthcare Educator, Clinical Leadership Facilitator and MBTI Practitioner. Currently she works at Birmingham Children’s Hospital across two departments. In the Education Department Mrs. Correa West supports the development of current and future Leaders in Healthcare, facilitating formal development programmes and by providing clinical supervision, coaching and mentoring for managers and clinical staff. In the Pharmacy Department she uses her nurse, educator and leadership skills to improve Medicines Management within and beyond Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
