1. Current Status, Position

Ms Alcaraz is currently the Head of Service of EU and International Affairs Division, she is responsible for all topics concerning international projects, especially at the European Union level, as well as for providing support to the Executive Director regarding international topics. Ms Alcaraz is currently attending the discussion of the proposal of the new HTA Regulation in the Working Group of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices of the Council of Europe.

2. Education

Ms Alcaraz is a pharmacist by training. She is also a Hospital Pharmacist specialist. She became a civil servant in the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS) and after a 3 year period working in the European Medicines Agency, she started her current position in the AEMPS.
