Recruitment of European Hospital Pharmacy CTF Steering Committee

10th December 2014

An initial meeting on how to form a common training framework for hospital pharmacy specialisation in Europe was held on Monday 10th November 2014 in Brussels. A full report of that meeting, including presentations given, is available HERE

Following this meeting, EAHP now invites its 7 member associations from Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal and Spain to nominate ONE appropriate individual to represent their country within a European Hospital Pharmacy CTF Steering Committee.

Nominations should be received by a deadline of 1700 CET on Tuesday 23rd December 2014 (nomination form to be sent to info@eahp.eu).

The first meeting of the new Steering Committee is scheduled to take place in Brussels on Sunday 18 January (0900-1600). Travel and accommodation costs of participants can be met in liaison with the EAHP secretariat. We therefore urge early nomination if possible in order to obtain the most favourable air fares.

Problems caused by shortages are serious, threaten patient care and require urgent action.

Help us provide an overview of the scale of the problem, as well as insights into the impact on overall patient care.

Our aim is to investigate the causes of medicine and medical device shortages in the hospital setting,  while also gathering effective solutions and best practices implemented at local, regional, and national levels.
