Passing of Colin Hitchings

EAHP regrets the passing of Colin Hitchings on Monday 30th June 2014. We offer sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Mr Hitchings has played an active role in advancing hospital pharmacy in Great Britain serving as president of both the Royal Pharmaceutical Society from 1983-1984 and the Guild of Hospital Pharmacists from 1978-1980.
He has played a marked and significant role within FIP as well, most notably within the Hospital Section, throughout terms as Secretary, Vice President and President, and within the EAHP as Secretary /treasurer between 1980-1984.

With his experience and guidance he leaves a remarkable contribution to the grow and development of the pharmacy profession.
