g. BMJ Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) – first step to create educational resources. Possible seminar?

BMJ says:
We’ve been working with a group of junior doctors, nurses and pharmacists over the last year to develop a new online platform to make quality improvement easier. It’s now being used by organisations across the UK, US and Australia to support their trainees. From the EAHP perspective, this is an excellent resource to further corroborate the need for shared medical teams.
We are now ready to push into the next phase and working with EAHP and linking thousands of pharmacists together who are working on improving similar areas of care and sharing their work and data.
The key components of the platform are –
A new open-access journal – BMJ Quality Improvement Reports – which aims to become the world’s largest searchable peer-reviewed repository of quality improvement evidence and data – a specialty channel can also be included and linked on the EJHP website.
An online workbook which guides individuals or teams step-by-step through an improvement project and makes it easy to record their work, datasets and supplementary information
Learning modules, teaching materials and tools to support both beginners and experts
Technology to allow clinicians to work individually, or connect to others in your team and work as a collaborative
Ability for trainees to invite their clinical supervisors to mentor and view their work
Submit your project for publication with a single-click – no need to re-write due our templated workbook
An improvement community with webinars and directory of users
For organisations such as yourselves we can also create a bespoke co-branded portal which allows you to add your own branding, improvement staff and also an annual branded PDF mini-journal to showcase the improvement work by your staff and membership. We can also create RSS feeds of published work by your members which you can include on your own website.
Please see attached brochures and information pack for further information.
The QIP currently sells for £49 per individual (limited offer) – negotiations can take place for reduced rates for EAHP members. Or sponsorship can be sought through Synergy partners.
