The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

1) Quick status update on nominated Steering Committee members and meeting attendees
The currently nominated individuals to the Steering Committee are:
1) Belgium – Prof Alfons Verbruggen – confirmed attendance
2) France – Aurelie Guerin – confirmed attendance
3) Italy – Paolo Serra – confirmed attendance
4) Spain – Eduardo Echarri – confirmed attendance
5) Netherlands – Jos Kosterink – unable to attend but hoping to send Prof Egberts as substitute. Waiting confirmation
6) Czech Republic – Petr Horak – confirmed attendance
7) Portugal – pending discussion within the national association
Juraj Sykora, Kees Neef, Roberto Frontini and Joan Peppard from the EAHP Board will attend the meeting
Jennie De Greef and Richard Price from the EAHP secretariat will attend the meeting
Prof Ian Bates will chair the meeting.
2) Consideration of key desired outcomes from the meeting
These occur to the Policy and Advocacy Officer as:
– Agree Terms of Reference, including chair, vice-chair (draft TOR available from HERE)
– Agree immediate action plan, including mapping activity, leadership and timelines of such activity
– Agree timetable and nature of future meetings (e.g. in person and virtual)
– Make assessment of how the project can be sustainably financed, operate to transparent standards, engage competent authorities at an early stage, and maintain close communication and dialogue with full EAHP membership
– Provide an open forum for Steering Committee members to share any concerns and questions they may have at the outset of the project
