The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

The Section for hospital/clinical pharmacy of Bosnia and Herzegovina is Member of EAHP since 2009.

Goals
Section for hospital & clinical pharmacy of Bosnia and Herzegovina is dedicated to hospital/clinical pharmacy development with a purpose to continually upgrade level of pharmaceutical care through the safest and most efficacious use of medicines and medical devices in hospital sector, together with other health workers.
Objectives and aims of the Section are to complying with aims of pharmaceutical societies of Republic of Srpska and Federation BiH be especially involved in following:
- Improvement of hospital/clinical pharmacy,
- Undergraduate and postgraduate education of hospital pharmacists,
- Including pharmacists in scientific and research projects in hospitals,
- Providing direct professional assistance to its members,
- Cooperation with scientific and professional institutions,
- Organisation of meetings, seminars and similar events in cooperation with pharmaceutical societies in BiH.
Membership
The Section has 58 members, Mpharms who are working at hospital pharmacies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Only members of the Pharmaceutical society of Republic of Srpska or the Pharmaceutical society of Federation BiH can become member of the Section and the decision making is the wright of members who work at hospital pharmacies. Member of the Section are obligated to regularly pay the membership fee for one of two pharmaceutical societies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Specialisation
Hospital pharmacists are not legally or obligated by contract with an employer to have a specialisation. Hospital, in accordance to its needs, can assign a specialisation to a hospital pharmacist in a certain pharmacy field: technology, medicines quality control, clinical pharmacy, etc. Specialisation usually requires three years of education and the content depends on field of pharmacy. There is no unique specialisation in hospital pharmacy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
