Current Status, Position

Prof Dr Ana Paula Martins is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon in the Department of Social Pharmacy. She leads the units of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance both in the Pharmaceutical Sciences undergraduate programme, post-graduate and PhD programmes. 

Education

Prof Dr Ana Paula Martins got her Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy University of Lisbon in 1990, her Master Degree in Epidemiology in 1995 from the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences and the PhD in Clinical Pharmacy in 2015 from the University of Lisbon.

Research Area

Prof Dr Martins’ main research interests are pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance specifically therapeutic comparative effectiveness and drug safety monitoring.
