The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

Current Status, Position
Dr Michael Wolf is currently Director of the Center for Applied Health Research on Aging (CAHRA) and Associate Vice-Chair for the Department of Medicine at the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University (Chicago, USA). He oversees the health services and clinical outcomes research enterprise addressing healthcare quality, safety and equity. He is also Professor of Medicine at James R. Webster Jr.
Education
Dr Wolf is a cognitive/behavioural scientist and health services researcher, who received his doctorate in Social/Behavioural Sciences from the University of Illinois in 2000, MA and MPH degrees in Cognitive Science and Public Health respectively from Northwestern University. In addition, he completed a National Research Service Award (NRSA) post-doctoral fellowship also at Northwestern. In 2010-11, he served as a J. William Fulbright Distinguished Faculty Scholar to the United Kingdom.
Research Area
Dr Wolf’s research areas include health literacy, aging, chronic disease self-management including treatment adherence, and the design of health system interventions to promote health, particularly among more medically complex, older adults living with multiple chronic conditions (MCC).
