The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

Current Status, Position
Dr Irene Aquerreta is an ICU pharmacist and pharmacist member of the antimicrobials stewardship program at the University Hospital of Navarra. She also teaches at the Pharmacy Faculty.
Education
Dr Irene Aquerreta studied pharmacy at the University of Navarra and graduated in 1995. She became a hospital pharmacy specialist at the University Hospital of Navarra in 1999, and finalised her PhD in Pharmacy in 2000.
Research Area
Dr Aquerreta’s research focuses on pharmaceutical care of critical patients and antimicrobials use at the hospital setting.
