The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

1. Current Status, Position
Ms Hynes is currently a Senior Pharmacist at Saint John of God Hospital in Dublin. She is responsible for medicines information and looks after the patients on the acute mental health ward. She is also an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Adjunct Lecturer/Associate Professor at the University College Dublin.
2. Education
Ms Hynes studied pharmacy at Trinity College, Dublin and registered as a pharmacist in 2008. In 2013, Caroline became one of the second Irish pharmacists to become a credentialled member of the College of Mental Health Pharmacy in the UK. In 2016 she obtained a Masters in psychiatric pharmacy practice from Aston University in the UK.
3. Research Area
Ms Hynes‘s research focuses on side-effects of antipsychotic medicines and medicines optimisation in those with a serious mental health problem.
