Workshop 1 – Qualitative research methods in pharmacy practice: an interactive session for hospital pharmacists

1. Current Status, Position

Senior Lecturer and MPharm Course Leader. Involved in teaching and administration for both undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy students.

2. Education

  • 1989: Graduated with a BSc (Hons) Pharmacy from Robert Gordon Institute of Technology
  • 2001: Graduated with an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy at Robert Gordon University and graduated
  • 2001: Graduated with a PgCert in Tertiary Level Teaching at Robert Gordon University and graduated
  • Working towards a Doctor of Education at University of Stirling (due for submission early 2012)

3. Research area

Her main research focus is educational research, with a particular interest and expertise in using qualitative methods in this field. Currently in the final stages of completing a Doctorate of Education (due for submission early 2012). She has a specific interest in researching teaching, learning and assessment and has published qualitative studies on reflective learning, communication and consultation skills.

The Groups will connect all members that share a category. Members who work on the same assocation, on the same hospital, that have the same role, etc.
