Current position
Norman Ott is urrently a hospital pharmacist at the University Hospital Basel. In the manufacturing department he is responsible for GMP-production (e.g. IMPs, contract manufacturing), equipment qualification, process and cleaning validation, and LEAN management. Mr. Ott is also involved in the continuing education of students and pharmacists.

Education
Norman studied Pharmacy at the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena, Germany, and became licensed pharmacist in 2008. In 2017 Mr. Ott obtained specialist pharmacist for hospital pharmacy (FPH) and became expert of LEAN hospital in 2019 at the University Hospital Basel.

Research area
Mr. Ott’s research focuses on cleaning validation, drug stability and process optimization in a GMP-environment.
