1. Current Status, Position

Dr Katerina Mala is a Professor Assistant at the Department of Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University and Clinical Pharmacist in Hospital Na Homolce in Prague. 

2. Education

Dr Mala has completed her studies of Pharmacy (MSc.) and doctoral study in clinical and social pharmacy (PhD; PharmD) at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University.
 
3. Research Area
  • projects focused on medication adherence in chronically treated patients, analyses of drug-related problems in different health facilities; improvement and implementation of pharmaceutical care in the Czech health care system; publication activity; 
  • teaching of undergraduate pharmacy students (pharmaceutical care, professional drug information, clinical pharmacy) as well as participating in postgraduate education (tutor of Interactive Dispensing Seminars run by Czech Pharmaceutical Society and Czech Chamber of Pharmacists and tutor of postgraduate trainings in Drug Information Centre);
  • Clinical Pharmacy: focus mainly on preoperative management in surgery and rhythm disorders therapy and prevention.

4. Conflict of interest: Dr Katerina Mala received travel grant from Bayer.

The Forum will be accessible for all the EAHP members, you don’t have to create a new account to browse and participate.

The Conversations will be moderated by our team to provide documents and relevant topics for the community.

The Groups will connect all members that share a category. Members who work on the same assocation, on the same hospital, that have the same role, etc.
