What is the self-assessment tool?

The European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP) has developed an online self-assessment tool to allow hospital pharmacists to assess the level of implementation of the Statements within their hospitals.

By assessing their hospital pharmacies, hospital pharmacists will not only be able to understand the statement implementation level within their hospitals, but it will also help them understand where they are within their own countries and others. The self-assessment tool will also complement the information we have been collecting through our regular surveys.

The tool will provide the means for hospital pharmacists to address the areas needing improvement with a tailor-made action plan and evidence-based resources. The tool will allow pharmacies to show progress as it can be updated at any time

You can find a video explaining how you can use the self-assessment tool to move towards implementation within your pharmacy here.

The online self-assessment tool is already available at http://sat.eahp.eu
