CTF – April 2019

CTF meeting @ Congress

The report of the meeting is available HERE. A revised version will be shared with attendees after the Board meeting. The Board should also discuss the type of follow-up activities that should be carried out by EAHP and CTF WG3 members. The report should be shared also with representatives that could not attend the meeting.

The Board should also discuss if another face-to-face meeting with authorities is needed in the near future.

Steering Committee

A call will be organised in April with the Steering Committee members to share information from the meeting with authorities.

Working Group 1

WG1 is currently comparing national programmes with the competency framework. This exercise should be completed in early May. In addition, the group is reviewing the first draft of the educational standards and guidelines document. A call will be organised in May to speak about the progress of the activities.

Working Group 2

WG2 shared the summary of their research (see HERE). The summary needs to be reviewed before it can be shared/published. The policy team is currently in discussions with RF to see if there is any need for further activities.

Working Group 3

A conference call with be organised with WG3 to speak about the meeting with competent authorities at congress. In addition, a revised communication strategy needs to be developed by the policy team and WG3 since comments were made at the meeting with authorities (e.g. comment from Spain).

European Commission – meeting with Sophie Weisswange

It should be decided by the Board if a meeting between PH and Sophie Weisswange should be organised before the summer.

ESNO – CTF follow-up from ESNO Congress

At ESNO’s congress, Wendy Preston suggested to exchange further about the CTF. SK is following-up and currently waiting on a response from Wendy Preston.

EAHP Forum

All the EAHP team is working on providing a Forum that can help connect all the members in Conversations and Groups to talk about important matters for the European Hospital Pharmacist.

The Forum will be accessible for all the EAHP members, you don’t have to create a new account to browse and participate.

Conversations and groups

The Conversations will be moderated by our team to provide documents and relevant topics for the community.

The Groups will connect all members that share a category. Members who work on the same assocation, on the same hospital, that have the same role, etc.
