The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

AMR
EAAD 2019
- EAHP’s long-standing contact (Andrea Nilsson) left ECDC
- EAAD 2019 will focus on healthcare workers
- EAHP to be invited to EAAD awareness event on 18th November in Stockholm (1 participant is sponsored by ECDC; more can attend)
- HP specific data from survey to assess healthcare workers’ antibiotic use and resistance will be shared with EAHP in November
- EAHP can use shared data to create imaging/messaging to be shared as of 18th November
Stewardship campaign
- The Board leads have worked on putting together an advocacy toolkit for a campaign on stewardship
- A very rough draft is available HERE
- This document will be supplemented with information from the call with ECDC held on 20th September
- The final version will be shared with members ahead of the EAAD instead of EAHP’s usual social media toolkit for the EAAD

- Ber asked before the summer if an EAHP representative wants to be involved in the review of the AMR/vaccination guide
- Progress is slow within ESNO so it is difficult to assess at the moment when the review would take place
