The EAHP Board, elected for three-year terms, oversees the association’s activities. Comprising directors responsible for core functions, it meets regularly to implement strategic goals. Supported by EAHP staff, the Board controls finances, coordinates congress organization, and ensures compliance with statutes and codes of conduct.

WG 3 – Good Practice Initiatives
Since the last Board Meeting the second call for Good Practice Initiatives closed with 52 examples submitted.
These were reviewed by the Scientific Committee, with 31 asked to submit poster to the Congress, forming a new section of the poster area.
In addition to this 11 GPIs will be presented at a special session of the Congress (Thursday 25th March, 11.45).
Following the January Scientific Committee meeting it is proposed that in future GPIs will be collected via the existing Congress abstract collection procedure.
WG 4 – the use of metrics in hospital pharmacy
At the time of writing this note, David Cousins survey on the use of metrics in hospital pharmacy was at an advanced stage and in the final stage of piloting before launch.

It is intended to launch the survey the week of 27 January 2013, with a one month period for completion. David Cousins would like to receive at least 10 responses from each country.
Highlights of the interim results will then be shared at a Congress roundtable on Thursday 25th March, 1145-1315, Room 122.
WG 5 – implementation and obstacles
David Gerrett's survey for heads of hospital pharmacy regarding challenges to implementing improvements in hospital pharmacy was launched on 18 December 2013. The survey is available here.
David Gerrett is seeking at least 5 responses from each EAHP country. At the time of writing this note 361 responses had been received, from the following countries: Germany (121); Belgium (64); Sweden (39); Switzerland (23); Portugal (21); Austria (14); Croatia (11); Slovenia (9); FYROM (7); Hungary (7); Serbia (6); United Kingdom (5); Netherlands (4); Estonia (4); Czech Republic (4); Finland (3); Iceland (3); Spain (2); Luxembourg (2); Malta (2); Greece (2); B&H (2); Ireland (1); Italy (1); Norway (1); Poland (1); Slovak Republic (1); Turkey (1).
No responses had been received from: Bulgaria; Denmark; France; Latvia; Lithuania; and, Romania.
