Speaking of his past participation in the EAHP Congress, Brendan Murray, a young clinical pharmacist working in the UK said:

"I attended the 19th EAHP Congress in Barcelona, Spain last March, my very first time attending the EAHP congress.

Earlier in the year, I was recommended to attend the EAHP congress, so I had high hopes - and indeed, the congress did not disappoint.

The exhibition hall for the event was massive and there the delegates had the opportunity to talk to pharmaceutical companies and pharmacy organisations leaders from all over Europe. Where else do you get the opportunity to do this? The answer is nowhere else! I was particularly impressed by the large volume and high quality of the research posters which were on display throughout the duration of the congress. I attended many presentation sessions, which were well worth going to.

So my advice to fellow young pharmacists around Europe is to avail of the young pharmacist rate while you are still young! Next year, EAHP congress will take place in Hamburg, Germany and I definitely recommend you to attend - you will not be disappointed!"
