M.D. in 1996, Residence on Hematology, Fellow of European Cancer Center, Consultant in

Hematology. Since 2009, Dr. Miranda is Clinical Director of the Portuguese Institute of Oncology.

3. Research area:

His main field of interest is the bone marrow transplantation. Besides, he is member of the National Ethics Committee for clinical trials.
